Bottom of the ninth, two outs, winning run on third, the batter steps up to the plate and strikes out, ending the game. What is going through his mind while he is waiting for that last pitch? Is it the argument he had with his friend that morning, the three straight strikeouts he had before this one or maybe he has a sick child at home. The key, he wasn’t focused on the moment at hand.
